These brightly colored ceramic ashtrays mimic the seductive marketing tactics of Big Tobacco while revealing lungs marked by the four stages of cancer, encircled by a clock of ash. Rooted in personal experience and research on smoking within South Asian communities, the work confronts addiction, mortality, and the false promise of time.
